INTRODUCTION
Reftone LD-3B Active Ref-Cubes are professional reference speakers with built in Bluetooth Technology. LD-3B Ref-Cubes have 25W of clean Class D power, operating at 8 ohms. For the strongest signal, we recommend to use the hardline 3.5mm Aux input while working. You can easily change to Bluetooth mode using the “M” button on the top of the control Ref-Cube.
CONNECTING YOUR SPEAKERS
With the power turned OFF, use the included speaker wire to connect the right and left speakers. The Ref-Cube with the controls is the right-hand side speaker for LD-3B stereo pairs. The satellite Ref-Cube is the left-hand side speaker. Next, connect the power AC cable to the Ref-Cube.
Set up stereo Ref-Cube speakers with the triangulation of 3-4 feet (approximately 1 meter). For mono Ref-Cube referencing monitoring, send a mono signal to the speakers.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Turn the power switch ON. The speaker will enter pairing mode, and the LED indicator will flash blue quickly. Open the Bluetooth menu on you device and select “LP40PA”. You will hear two beeps when pairing is complete, and the LED will remain solid blue.
AUX CONNECTION
Plug your device into the AUX jack on the right speaker using a 3.5mm stereo or Y cable (not included). The LED indicator will light solid red to indicate AUX connection.
PLEASE NOTE: for the best sound quality in Bluetooth or AUX mode, we recommend that your device’s volume level be set no higher than 90%.
