If you talk to engineers, we all have personal relationships with speakers we have and use.

So if your connection is faster you can immediately pull something up on your phone and send it to these speakers, or you can stream your mix to these speakers. Just take advantage of all the technology that’s out there.” The stereo pair of LD-3B Ref-Cubes have the convenience of 25W power and offer two types of inputs. It defaults to Bluetooth mode when you turn them on. Using the controls on the top, you can play and pause, control the volume and skip forward and backward. Easily switch to the analog 3.5mm aux input with the “M” Mode button on top of the right-side control cube. The speakers connect together with one speaker wire and thrive in easy-to-reach setups.

When I think I’m done, I’ll just throw it up on the Ref-Cubes and listen to them, go through real quick and I’ll know, like that, if something needs to be tweaked just a little bit more that I didn’t catch on the bigger monitors. I use them for both mixing and mastering.

I listen through my AirPods, I listen in the car- it just translates.” If want the full power option, passive LD-3 ref-cubes take up to 300W of power! There can be more control with a separate power amp and passive ref-cubes make more sense in certain setups.
